We have done it all this month. <br /><br />I don't tend to put much on here about James and I, but this month I did my first mud run with some awesome women. We had a blast and it was for a good cause...breast cancer foundation. <br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/10/23/2529.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/10/23/s_2529.jpg' border='0' width='210' height='281' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br />The before picture. <br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/10/23/2530.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/10/23/s_2530.jpg' border='0' width='281' height='210' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br />The after picture. We have had a great start to a new school year. Connor started Kindergarten this year and he is enjoying it. The first couple of weeks were an adjustment for him, but he is coming around. Coming from an awesome preschool to public school there has been some ups and downs. He loves PE and technology, but dislikes getting up at 6:30!!! I don't like it one BIT, either!!!!<br />

<br />
This is at Meet the Teacher night in the library. He gets to go to the library once a week and choose his own books. He thinks that is awesome!<br />

My baby started preschool this year and absolutely loves it!!! He was so use to going and taking Connor everyday last year that this is second nature to him. They get him directly out of my car and he smiles and waves and RUNS to Ms. Kathy. We love his teacher and her assistant, Ms. Robin. He goes to school MWF and finally gets to paint, use markers, and do crafts.:0)<br />

We had so much fun and saw so many amazing things. We ate great seafood, had a blast with family, and saw so much breathtaking scenery. <br />
<br />
We flew into Seattle and took the kids to Pike Market. Ian decided he wanted to hold the crab and Connor didn't want to stink like fish. This was a very fun place and the workers were beyond nice. We also took the kids to the Space Needle. The kids loved the ride up in the elevator.<br />

At our stop in Skagway we really didn't have a plan and the four of us stumbled upon the Lumberjack show. They performed log rolling, climbing, and, of course, sawing. During one part of the show the teams were having a competition to see who could cut their log into a bunny rabbit. "Our" team captain actually decapitated the bunny and turned it into a stool for Ian. We did end up buying a large tote bag to bring this very cool stool home with us. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgytXWKVkKgslPXcIeFQNWB1w9FTympysVB10S7HidprZRkjnkkNi223eJig_JW5cE3nBSOqYESzyHH3Knbl7R2lwJnjZjPL5IEIfBYNhu6AK14zNz16n1EWFKZWShC3dX5_J50TMD_Og5m/s1600/June2012Alaska+464.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgytXWKVkKgslPXcIeFQNWB1w9FTympysVB10S7HidprZRkjnkkNi223eJig_JW5cE3nBSOqYESzyHH3Knbl7R2lwJnjZjPL5IEIfBYNhu6AK14zNz16n1EWFKZWShC3dX5_J50TMD_Og5m/s320/June2012Alaska+464.JPG" width="320" /></a><br />

<br />
<center><a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/06/12/2565.jpg"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/06/12/s_2565.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="400" /></a></center><br />
Connor's last day of DKH. He learned so much and is very excited about the big K! I can not believe my baby will be a kindergartner. Where has time gone?<br />
<br />
<center><a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/06/12/2566.jpg"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/06/12/s_2566.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="400" /></a></center><br />
<br />On our way to Denver City via the farm (this was day 2 of our 10 stay in West Texas)<br />
<br />
<center><a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/06/12/2567.jpg"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/06/12/s_2567.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="400" /></a></center>Ian needed to be just like big bro. What did we do before DVD players in cars? Oh, slept, played games, and read books...crazy I know!<br />
<br />
<center><a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/06/12/2568.jpg"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/06/12/s_2568.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="400" /></a></center><br />
Day 3 we BROKE our ARM. Yep!!! Both bones in the wrist were fractured. This has not slowed him down for all of you that just said, awwwww. He is a very determined little guy and bathing and swimming are about the only things he can't do...very well. We decided to continue on with our stay and from DC we spent a night in Lubbock with my cousin Jenn and her family. I took lots of pictures, but none on my phone (which has become the easiest way to blog). One of these days I will dump all my camera pictures to the computer...one of these days! From LBK we headed to mom and dads farm in Cross Plains. We stayed there and relaxed and headed home the following Sunday. Wow, what a great time, but boy was I glad to be home.<br />
<center><a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/06/12/2569.jpg"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/06/12/s_2569.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="400" /></a></center><br />

Can we even call it winter? Anyways...we have none the less been sickly at our house. Both boys got strep and pink eye, Ian has had 4 ear infections in about 6 weeks (guess what his future holds...tubes) and Connor was struck with asthma and last but not least Ian got pink eye today again. <br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/03/07/2781.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/03/07/s_2781.jpg' border='0' width='210' height='281' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br />At the dr.s office<br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/03/07/2782.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/03/07/s_2782.jpg' border='0' width='210' height='281' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br />Just hanging around<br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/03/07/2783.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/03/07/s_2783.jpg' border='0' width='210' height='281' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br />Not feeling well <br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/03/07/2784.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/03/07/s_2784.jpg' border='0' width='168' height='281' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br />My sweet church buddy<br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/03/07/2785.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/03/07/s_2785.jpg' border='0' width='400' height='400' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br />Pink eye and Strep with 1 ear infection<br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/03/07/2786.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/03/07/s_2786.jpg' border='0' width='400' height='400' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br />Getting some much needed vitamin c<br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/03/07/2787.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/03/07/s_2787.jpg' border='0' width='400' height='400' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br />Enjoying brothers toys while he is at school<br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/03/07/2788.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/03/07/s_2788.jpg' border='0' width='210' height='281' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br />Playing in Ft. Here is another milestone we hit. 18 months old. I wish I could make time stand still. The boys seem to be growing up way to fast. Ian went to his check up last week and everything looked great.<br />
Stats:<br />
32 1/2 inches long 60%<br />
23 pounds 20%<br />
head 50%<br />
<br />
The dr. is not to concerned with his weight due to the fact that he eats all the time. She said since he is on the go so much and never slows down he needs all the calories he can get. With that said, he will eat just about anything for me. I still feed him 4 oz. of milk with baby cereal in the morning along with whatever Connor is having. He is drinking about 20 oz of milk a day and loves when he gets a special treat...diluted juice.<br />
<br />
Ian still loves to climb and often James and I are heard saying, "sit down", "don't climb in that chair", and my favorite, "get off of [insert just about anything]". His language is expanding daily and has began trying to repeat what we say. He asks for Con-Con all the time. His face lights up when Connor gets home from school. <br />
<br />
<br />
<center><a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/02/05/2799.jpg"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/02/05/s_2799.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="210" /></a></center><br />
<br />Playing with brother in the tent.<br />

We couldn't find Ian the other morning and he was laying between the ottomans listening to Phineas and Ferb on the IPAD. Yes, he turned it on all by himself. As you can see he was proud of himself!<br />
<center><a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/02/05/2801.jpg"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/02/05/s_2801.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="210" /></a></center><br />

<br />
<center><a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/02/05/2803.jpg"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/02/05/s_2803.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="210" /></a></center><br />
<br />Waiting to get brother and friend from school. <br />
<center><a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/02/05/2804.jpg"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/02/05/s_2804.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="210" /></a></center>Another funny place we tend to find Ian...in laundry baskets. If the basket is full we usually find all the dirty clothes on the floor.<br />
<br />
We love you sweet Ian!<br />

I totally forgot my camera at every party and when we made the trek to Denver City for the big day! UGH is all I can say for myself...Thankfully my sisters-in-laws got some great shots for those photo books that I hope to do "one of these days", but for the purpose of this blog, YOU get family portraits! I love them. They turned out so great I am in love with these three boys in my life. Thank you Christine Harvey for making memories I can have forever!</div><div> </div><div>Before we got out of the car, each one of them got the "this is important to me" talk. Two of the three cooperated. We take what we can get from Ian. We have since then figured out how to get him to smile on command...BRIBERY!!!<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 214px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5692007547167071538" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgI_pWZOn9fewl6bem-OeKdWqE5r1yU_PW7AjKEolsjqq8wSgXQoCCN6JwA1irH36B18A2pNSVnIWeQQdjZw8uyVJWAz0Qh_QZHBzhHN7ZqFknoVkXQAyi4kJ8EUP4iXWfA4rDSeNNmrxRT/s320/family%252Bbridge%252Bcolor%252Bcrop%252B2-1634375158-O.jpg" /><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 214px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5692007541509558226" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOwYVZwnLfojISxHmEpj-mi6mIZ7FjgU1XJ1TGxYkg9cPsxY5pJv4i0phrRndWkdmqCkg6H408EXupc4g-uc5eigM9tZe-DRE1HbLDbHHNtJMG6PZIUAIynT51GLhHuCaX9E9rXseRkjmh/s320/C%252Breindeer%252B2-1634489700-O.jpg" /></div><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 214px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5692007532518910674" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhet67UwSl_HpAkzVzEDXYiN_2PR7Eu-5SU_Qc2vsJ10j7iCUnR7UMXVzAd5ES6QawyzDVX0yqvKrPpsPF5aZK11A7FQqGzQ21ZmbRI2XW7Zr6InvklcQtg10fWyusba_HJoOumeGH07Xfb/s320/boys%252Bsmiles%252Bcrop-1635175283-O.jpg" /></div><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 214px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5692007528752361650" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEja8SlSKbRjFzsNmAv2ryr0l4rytQJWfz1oimcyTub3CcVLQ7PR7EyZEdpTjmh8gH46JbvacA2KNuUfPvSuMyGS8jA5kM8Z0DHvXBxSE93tBovZzuYe8MJRLWDH9jeMWpTJE3w6dCKuJkQw/s320/family%252Brocks%252Bfull%252Bcrop%252Bsat-1634441727-O.jpg" /></div><div> We had a wonderful Christmas/December teaching the boys about Christ and the reason we BELIEVE! We have really tried to stress the importance of this Christmas season to Connor. We have talked about baby Jesus and the Wise men, the shepherds, to baby Jesus being born in a manger. The boys and I decided to go halfway with him and stay the weekend at the farm with mom and dad. Here are a few of the things we did. <br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=11/10/31/2145.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/11/10/31/s_2145.jpg' border='0' width='281' height='210' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br />Here are the pumpkins we carved. We had a great time celebrating. I "let" James pick his own present out this year...two tickets to the World Series! He actually picked ME to go with him. It was fun hanging out and enjoying each others company. Because we went to the game we didn't get to celebrate with the kids. On Monday we ordered our favorite cupcakes and sang Happy Birthday to the BEST daddy two boys could ask for!<br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=11/10/26/3448.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/11/10/26/s_3448.jpg' border='0' width='210' height='281' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=11/10/26/3449.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/11/10/26/s_3449.jpg' border='0' width='210' height='281' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br />On our way to the game! We had a great time relaxing, hanging out at the beach, and resting. We spent most of our time relaxing on the beach. We thought hurricane Irene was going to put a damper on our plans, but she didn't and off we went (without our precious boys). I was fine during the days, but at night and early in the mornings I was homesick for the boys. They were in great hands, Nana & Papa stayed two nights with them and Grandma & Papa finished out the last part.</div><div> </div><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 240px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5656012815768482738" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJq912FhXpx_hN7Fv4rlPKXE6WRZ28SDhxOEcSFzaI_tnBbLiaJMfrt0G7uOZxGE8uyUioUwWBdqUqyl4rCUGl6TNrDc0ftvPulNYVQHEdpnIePojwBvWhgjvgtv6V0orEw5g6NBvE5hkF/s320/IMG_2670_0091.jpg" /></div><div>This was the view on our beach. What were we thinking having both kids born 11 days apart. It sure does make this mommy lose her mind. Ian is amazing. He is funny, he loves Connor, and lights up when he sees mommy and daddy. We had a birthday party for family for both boys. They each got to blow out candles and have their own cake. Ian wasn't quite sure about the whole cake thing at first, but he got down and dirty and soon decided he really liked it.<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div> <img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 214px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5656006990914962658" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhio4NILi7cb7hTvxE9hRCnDDwSMEgdlDFHdvHqjW06rmCVs_JkEo1oJ2TQNXWI0pq1LcfHGP6fH5timMvBR4gME8fxg6ld23RXGizw5vc803vzlo8z85QVbcWYE-dC3SbvfwGQZMSlnzn_/s320/Ian.png" /></div><div>Some things I want to remember about Ian:</div><div>*He is a bit wobbly, but can walk</div><div>*He eats pretty much what we eat, but I still feed him baby food (fruits/veggies)</div><div>*He watches everything that Connor does</div><div>*He is attached to mommy and daddy<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 320px; height: 214px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5656006994949752242" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLzsvA6UK8tg5HCcOc_YihfWqLQPBQfPGesdW9hnYWBGYgLVGusP7240RPhraPCXif1KCHC-mI6BEHuiTKq9TegxPSWVd9iOJG6VDv1jaTgfHwR8o9EOI2xSEmety99MZSTImhQqczfgl4/s320/ian1.png" /><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 214px; height: 320px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5656007005610093186" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLAWBS1utQSP4WfczN4-bIzNKh-CGGTwn9M9dvW4JZ0lD_JmB4-V0a_dv_QcomF558FtrWsKAb1wClfUaLXzk6VNCH5D2hEzakMUvW886UgsYL7ttX6Pgd0ritqAa_Z_Tfl6v0w67wcT4M/s320/ian3.png" /></div><div> </div><div>Stats:</div><div>Length: 29 1/2 inches tall 65%</div><div>weight: 20.3 pounds 25-50%</div><div>Head: 75 %</div><div> </div><div>Ian,</div><div>You light up our world.
