Connor's Point of View

Here are a few more pictures from the stock show in Fort Worth. We went on a Sunday and it wasn't very crowded. Connor didn't have to wait in any lines and pretty much had run of the midway.

Grandma and Connor riding down the BIG SLIDE.

Connors point of view...a pretty cool picture. The fence is in view with the big oinker blurrryyy.

Another Connor pic. I absolutly love this picture. I call it....Triplets :0)

This kid stopped and asked Connor if he wanted to take his picture. I like how the kid posed for a 3 year old. He was very sweet.

Fort Worth Stock Show

This past weekend James' mom was in town and we decided to take her to the Stock Show. I think at first she wasn't to sure about it, but she told us she had a great time. Connor ended up with her camera so in my next post I will put his pictures up. It was a little chilly with some moisture in the air, but we had a great time looking at the animals and of course the midway! James, Connor, and Grandma enjoyed a few rides while mommy and Ian stayed nice and warm watching the baby donkey's in the arena area.
Daddy and Connor in the big bears belly. Yes I said it was cold and yes James has on SHORTS!
Ian didn't make it very long during the Ag Magic Show.

Connor loved watching the baby ducks slide into the water while they were trying to get the food.

Daddy, Grandma, and Ian waiting on Connor to finish watching the ducks!

Waiting on the magic show to begin we needed a little bit of lovin'. :0)

Be on the lookout for my next post of Connor's pictures. Thanks Grandma for coming to visit!

Brownies & Ian's First Hair Cut

Connor loves to lick the brownie bowl...he is now old enough to get to eat it! I just have to share it now.
Let me begin with this...

When Connor was a baby he had a lot of hair and it was curly. I loved it! When it was wet it was so cute. Looking back now, I wish someone would have told me it was NOT cute! He needed a hair cut way before I gave him one. So this time around I took the initiative and gave Ian a hair cut myself.
Chewing on Sophie while mom gets ready to cut my hair...BEFORE

Trimming...
And she is all done. Ian sat so good and still. I am so happy with how it turned out! ;0) AFTER

Snow, Swimming, & Sick

What a week. Last Thursday I took Connor in to see the dr. because I thought his allergies were acting up. Come to find out he tested positive for the flu...there for we are ALL on meds now. We did a chest x-ray and determined he probably had a bronchial spasm and needed to be tested for pertussis (still waiting on the results, be he is on meds). Thankfully we were at the dr. office when his fever spiked and she did breathing treatments and meds. Praise God the rest of us are doing okay as of now! James and Connor playing in what little snow we received.

Sweet Ian riding Connor's horse that he got for his first Christmas. During all the hype of Connor getting sick they checked Ian and we weighed a whopping 16 pounds and 6 oz. He is still about 4 pounds behind Connor.

Connors first breathing treatment at home. He did not like the first few times we did it, but I have now found that watching a cartoon or playing on the ipad makes the treatment go a little faster. We are having to mix 2 separate vials so it takes about 30 minutes to complete...one cartoon=perfect!

Last Tuesday was his first time at swimming lessons. Had the instructor not let him go under it would have gone better. Note to self and others reading...the new camera will not make it's way back to swimming lessons. The camera lens fogged up as soon as I walked into the swimming area.

The last couple of weeks have been rough for a few of my close friends. Please keep my best friend Katy and her family in your prayers. She lost her cousin in a tragic accident the day after Christmas. They delivered the baby at 30 weeks. Eric, Mali, Eleri, and Curran are in need of prayers! www.caringbridge.org/visit/currangomez

Another friend of mine has a little one, Tatum, about a month older than Ian that has started having seizures. They don't know what is causing them, but every time he has one he stops breathing. Please keep these families in your thoughts and prayers.

Christmas part 2

We took the boys to DC the weekend of New Year's. We were so happy our daddy decided to fly down with us instead of drive. It made flying so much easier! We arrived at Mike and Kathy's about 8:30 on Friday evening and Connor couldn't wait until Sat. morning to open gifts so needless to say we were up until 10:45. YIKES!!!
Gran with great grandchild number 8 (I think)! She is getting to live in DC so every time we go down now we get to see her:)
Grandma with all the BOY grand kids. John and Kristi drove through on their way home to Houston. We only got to see them for a few minutes but thankful to see their sweet little guy. I think Connor was squishing him. Ian-left; Connor-middle; CT-right

All the dads and kiddos got marshmallow guns for Christmas! As you can see my boys loved it!

Our airplane ride home!

Grandma and Papa! We love you!!!
