Santa...

This morning was the annual MOMZ Holiday party. I have decided that when Connor gets out with other kiddos he is 100% BOY!!! Running, screaming, and acting SILLY! He had so much fun....until Santa came in. The child wrapped his legs around me so tightly that I could not pry him off. Hence, me in the pictures with Santa. I think the only reason he got as close as he did was because he wanted a present. He got a really fun book.

Santa walked around after all the kids sat in his lap, Connor STILL was not sure about Santa being behind him.

He is my sweet little angel. What a super cute kid. In parenthesises in little words his shirt says (just ask my mommy)!

Still doesn't want to get close.

Yea, I got my book!!!!
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"
Be safe,

Polar Express

Yesterday Connor and I braved the cold weather and met some moms from our MOMZ group in Grapevine to ride the Polar Express train. We had a great time. All the kiddos wore their pj's. We dressed Connor in his Christmas jammies. When we boarded the train the kids were given a small ornament. We listened to a story, sang songs, and there was even a special visit from the "Big Guy" himself. Connor wasn't scared of Santa, but he kept his eyes on him the entire time.

We both have a very goofy look on our face! Sorry!
He was definitely a wiggle worm. He wanted to sit in the window sill, but there was a sweet little boy sitting beside us. I couldn't ask him to MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was taken in the tent before we boarded the train. It was cooooolllldddd. Connor kept running back to me saying, "BURRRR, Momma".

He loves to eat. He was bumming food off of other kids. He loves this hat, also. We got it last year at Janie and Jack, I was so happy it fit again this year. We do have a large head. I don't think it will make it another year. We'll have to order one online....
Merry Christmas,
Kellie

My sleeping angel. Where does time go?

Giving

James and I have been frantically getting things prepared for Christmas. We realized that our shopping was NOT yet complete. We braved the cold the other night and went to Grapevine Mills Mall. We came out with a BIG heart and a lesson taught!!! This Christmas we stared a new tradition. As a family we went to the BIG tree inside the mall and chose a girl and a boy to buy gifts for. James did a great job explaining to Connor what and why we were doing this, while I stood with big tears as I watched and listened to a great father teaching his innocent son about life's lessons. We didn't come out with any gifts, but our Hearts were full and we felt like we would make a very special boy and girl happy this holiday season.

Blogger is not letting me add pictures at this time I will try later on.

On a side note:
Thank you all for the love and support you have shown as the Kelly family grieves the loss of James' grandfather. We appreciate the prayers.

Merry Christmas,
Kellie

Push-Ups

We hope that this blog finds everyone feeling happy and healthy. We had a great Thanksgiving. We all have a lot to be thankful for this year. Everyone seemed to enjoy their time in the big "D" with us. The James, John, and Mike enjoyed the Thanksgiving day Cowboys game. Kathie, Kristi, Connor, and I went searching for something open....we found Wal-Mart! I will post a few pictures of Thanksgiving later.

James is in Washington D.C. so Connor and I made the short trip to Hillsboro to see Nana, Papa, and Uncle Bubba. The traffic was horrible on Sunday getting here. I-35 was at a stand still more than one time. Connor and I have enjoyed our time here.

Eric and I went to get gas last night and this is what we came home to. Connor was eating a push-up in the TUB!!!!!!!!!!! Although his face doesn't show it, he really did enjoy the WHOLE experience.
He was definitely SAD when the Push-Up was all gone. The rest of bath time wasn't much fun.
Enjoy your week, hope you all get your shopping done early (ha ha), and we hope to see you all soon.!!!!!!!!!!!!
