What a loooonnngggg month May was

We have been a very busy family getting ready for our trip to Alaska next week, but here are our May pictures.


Connor's last day of DKH.  He learned so much and is very excited about the big K!  I can not believe my baby will be a kindergartner.  Where has time gone?

Ian needed to be just like big bro.  What did we do before DVD players in cars?  Oh, slept, played games, and read books...crazy I know!


Day 3 we BROKE our ARM.  Yep!!!  Both bones in the wrist were fractured.  This has not slowed him down for all of you that just said, awwwww.  He is a very determined little guy and bathing and swimming are about the only things he can't do...very well.  We decided to continue on with our stay and from DC we spent a night in Lubbock with my cousin Jenn and her family.  I took lots of pictures, but none on my phone (which has become the easiest way to blog).  One of these days I will dump all my camera pictures to the computer...one of these days!  From LBK we headed to mom and dads farm in Cross Plains.  We stayed there and relaxed and headed home the following Sunday.  Wow, what a great time, but boy was I glad to be home.

Having fun

The boys and I have been enjoying the weather and being outside.  Here are a few pictures from the past couple of weeks.

Lately

This has been one crazy winter (?). Can we even call it winter? Anyways...we have none the less been sickly at our house. Both boys got strep and pink eye, Ian has had 4 ear infections in about 6 weeks (guess what his future holds...tubes) and Connor was struck with asthma and last but not least Ian got pink eye today again.

18 mos old

WOW!  Here is another milestone we hit.  18 months old.  I wish I could make time stand still.  The boys seem to be growing up way to fast.  Ian went to his check up last week and everything looked great.

32 1/2 inches long  60%
23 pounds               20%

The dr. is not to concerned with his weight due to the fact that he eats all the time.  She said  since he is on the go so much and never slows down he needs all the calories he can get.  With that said, he will eat just about anything for me.  I still feed him 4 oz. of milk with baby cereal in the morning along with whatever Connor is having.  He is drinking about 20 oz of milk a day and loves when he gets a special treat...diluted juice.

Ian still loves to climb and often James and I are heard saying, "sit down", "don't climb in that chair", and my favorite, "get off of [insert just about anything]".  His language is expanding daily and has began trying to repeat what we say.  He asks for Con-Con all the time.  His face lights up when Connor gets home from school.

We couldn't find Ian the other morning and he was laying between the ottomans listening to Phineas and Ferb on the IPAD.  Yes, he turned it on all by himself.  As you can see he was proud of himself!

Legoland

Today the new carpet is being installed so Grandma, me, and the boys had to get out of our house. We decided to take the kids to Legoland. What fun!

Day off

Monday Connor had the day off from school and our Moms PTA group went to the Dallas Natural Museum. I have to say both kids had a great time. The museum was very kid friendly. We will be going back with an extra set of adult hands:0)
